Goodbye USA I'm in Norway

I arrived in Norway yesterday at 12:20pm after a 4 hour 20 min flight to Iceland followed by a 2 hour flight to Oslo. Ragnar and Marianne were there to greet me and help me with my luggage. When I arrived home I had a bite to eat and did some unpacking which was nice as I was quite hungry after traveling. Marianne and I went for a nice skate ski around the countryside for an hour fifteen minutes. We had tacos for dinner after and Marianne and I watched criminal minds before bed. Not a bad first day in Norge.

Today I woke up at 11 (jetlag). I ate breakfast, unpacked a bit, and helped Marianne put her new closet in her room. It was quite the project and we had many obstacles along the way. After that I had some omelet and bread and cheese for lunch and Marianne, Ragnar and I went for a 2:30min run. My legs are now quite sore and I'm watching the European track and field championships. I'm having chicken and pasta for dinner and I'm quite excited as the run took some energy out of me.

Also, by the way, I will not be updating this daily. I will have a lot going on with meeting new people, training, etc. so I will do my best job to update it every few days. I will start bringing my camera around as well and take some pictures of things and post them on here.

Summer so far

It has officially been summer for a few weeks now. I am really enjoying not being in school. I've been working and ski training quite a bit lately and enjoying the warm, sunny weather. The one month till Norway mark was reached a few days ago so I will be heading off to Norway before I know it. I'm very excited to meet everyone I've been talking with and meeting other people as well. I'm sure it will be a great year.

This weekend I went up to Christmas cove, where I grew up spending each summer when I was a bit younger. I spent some really good time with friends I only see about a week every year and also spent some time with my family. I took a lot of photo's from our 4th of July weekend. Check them out below.
A view from my friend Trisha Vossler's summer house

A group of my summer friends. The two girls on the left are Trisha's friends she brought up for the weekend from her house. Amanda Dobler (left) looks like a guidette and Ellie Bullitt (2nd to left) just saw new moon this weekend. She is on team Edward again. The two boys (Sørensons) in the middle are Norwegian but live in the US most of the time but for the last year and this coming year they live in Sandefjord. Herlof is on the left and Haakon is on the right.

Same group of us on the boat :) The girl on the right is Meghan Prescott my 2nd cousin.

A shot for the family albums :)

A picture of some of the girls and I.
